Visit the Addo Elephant National Park
- Meet the tour guide who will pick you up from Port Elizabeth at 07:45 in the morning with departure at the latest by 8. )This allows us to travel at ease and arrive at a good time so you may still freshen up before your tour begins.)
- Drive via the N2 to The Addo Elephant National Park, Mathyolweni Gate (9:00 a.m.). Upon arrival in this magnificent park, Covid screening will be done at the gate before we continue with our tour.
- Start exploring the third largest National Park in South Africa, the Addo Elephant National Park, a malaria-free diverse wildlife conservation park close to Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) in South Africa. It is home to the Big 7 and the densest concentration of African Elephants in the world. We spend our time together experiencing the diverse plant, animal and bird life Addo has to offer. If we are lucky, we might even spot some Lion, Hyena and Cape Buffalo. See a variety of Antelope, our feisty warthog and inquisitive Zebra. Perfect photo opportunities!
- Make a quick pitstop at the famous Jack’s Picnic site, where you can stretch your legs and use the ablution facilities. We continue to the main camp for lunch at The Cattle Baron (13:00). You are welcome to browse the curios shop or stroll to the lookout point below the eating deck.
- Depart from lunch at 14:30 and at the latest 15:00. We continue exploring the park's northern side with a departure from the park at 17:00.
- Return to Port Elizabeth by 18:30.
