My passion for tourism has always been a part of my life, ever since I matriculated in 1966 I've been showcasing the city to family and friends from Gauteng, USA & Egypt.In 2009 prior to the Soccer World Cup, a friend asked me to assist in Airport transfers as he just couldn't handle the load.This inevitably led to tours as well.I was always made to believe that to become an official tour guide was a tedious exercise until in 2016 I decided it was time to become [sensitive content]day I'm a fully Registered and qualified "SA Specialist" Tour Guide and an official Member of the Professional Tour Guides of South Africa. I'm passionate about Cape Town and love to showcase the City's points of interest to visitors from far and wide.Fortunately, most tourists can understand English so I don't have a language problem.I enjoy getting visitors to experience our local cuisine, culture, history, our incredible hospitality (Capetonians are the friendliest people on earth, a truly diverse "Rainbow Nation") our rich Fauna & Flora and the amazing scenic splendour on offer and love the fact that I can call myself an "Ambassador" of Cape Town.I love to educate, excite, entertain and create a memorable experience for every visitor, which will linger in their memories long after they have left our shores, to return with family and friends.
