Soweto Tour
- Pick up from the airport or hotel.
- Begin with a visit to the Apartheid Museum, a part of the Gold Reef City complex, illustrating apartheid and the 20th-century history of South Africa.
- Next, visit the Mandela House Museum and walk past Desmond Tutu's house on Vilakazi Street and have lunch afterwards.
- Visit the Hector Pieterson Memorial and Museum that commemorates the role of the country’s students in the struggle against apartheid and, in particular, the role played by the school children who took part in the Soweto protests of 1976, many of whom were shot by the apartheid police while protesting against the sub-standard of education in black schools in South Africa.
