Van Long Nature Reserve Tour
- Meet the tour guide and the driver, who will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi and depart to Ninh Binh Province in a two-hour drive.
- Arrive at Gia Vien, and you will get on a bike to visit local villages, temples and local markets nearby.
- Stop over at Cau Vang Hamlet and indulge in farming activities. You can catch crab, go fishing or enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience with transplanting rice, seeding, scooping water or harvesting (depending on the season). Enjoy lunchtime in a local ancient house.
- Visit the "Cat Scratch" mountain where you can see the world-red-book animal, Delacour's langurs.
- Depart to Van Long Wharf to embark on a boat trip to Van Long Nature Reserve, renowned as the largest wetland of Northern Vietnam. A 90-minute rowboat ride will allow you to take in the picturesque landscapes of this diversified and unique ecological system and have a chance to see many types of fauna living here. Spot many limestone mountains and stunning caves on your way. The water here is so clear that you can look through the moss on the bottom.
- Transfer back to Hanoi. The short tour is expected to end at 17:30 at your hotel in Hanoi.
