Pay your respects at the Perfume Pagoda which is a vast complex of Buddhist temples and shrines, built into the Huong Tich Mountains.It is the site of a religious festival which draws large numbers of pilgrims from across Vietnam. A trip to this pagoda offers you a boat ride through the beautiful Yen River with views of Karst mountains. Also, get a chance to see the Thien Tru pagoda on this tour.

Full Day Tour
- Pick up at 8:30 by your private tour guide from your hotel in Hanoi.
- After a 2 hour drive out of the city and into the rural area, start the trip. Located on the limestone rocks of Huong Son Mountain in beautiful and mystical surroundings, is a complex of Pagodas and Buddhist shrines built into the limestone cliffs. The most important and sacred pagoda is situated inside a cave known as Dong Huong Tich ‘The Cave of Fragrant Traces’.
- Relax on the rowing boat and set off on a 1 hour journey to Thien Tru quay. The peaceful scenery along the river is marvelous and impressive.
- On arrival at the foot of the mountain in Thien Tru quay, set off on a cable car ride to the main cave Pagoda. The main pagoda is set in a huge grotto containing a highly decorative shrine with many stalactites and stalagmites.
- After visiting the pagoda, trek downhill to the foot of the mountain for lunch in a restaurant.
- Then, go to Thien Tru pagoda (Heaven Kitchen) to walk around and learn more about Buddhism. Stop here for some exclusive photography.
- Return to Hanoi.
