Itinerary

1. Day 1: Hoa Lu & Mua Caves

   • Start your day with your Vietnamese tour guide at 8:00 am. There will be a bus to pick you up from the hotel (place of stay) which will take you to Ninh Binh.

   • Stop for a quick break.

   • Arrive at Hoa Lu city which is 90 km south of Hanoi to visit King Dinh and Lê Đại Hành Temple.

   • Approach Tam Coc Wharf for a buffet lunch with Vietnamese Cuisines in a restaurant.

   • Take a cycle ride to Mua Cave which is situated on the mountain top. See the beautiful stalactites and stalagmites (mineral formations).

   • Continue onto the Bungalow restaurant for an interesting cooking class on how to bake local cakes. You can opt to go for a swim after the class before your dinner at 19:00. If interested, you can also go to a local bar.

2. Day 2: Bich Dong Pagoda

   • Start your day at 6:30 with beautiful sunrise views and a delicious breakfast. 

   • Visit the local market.

   • Enjoy a relaxed boat ride on the Ngo Dong River with sampan boats for riverside views and plant life followed by an authentic local lunch.

   • Continue onto Bich Dong Pagoda. Walk up to the top to enjoy panoramic views of stone bridges and dotted hamlets. This pagoda consists of three separate layered pagodas: Ha, Trung and Thuong. Relax here with afternoon tea. 

   • At 19:00, return to your hotel.
