Tour the city of Hue in luxury
- Start the tour at 8 am (pick-up from the hotel).
- Take a private dragon boat and along the Perfume River to visit the 400-year-old pagoda, Thien Mu pagoda which dates back to 1601 (a UNESCO World heritage site). There are many stories and myths about the pagoda from the locals in Kim Long village.
- Avail a private car and head to the Citadel, the Royal City, and the Forbidden City, a complex around 100 monuments in 520 hectares of the Nguyen dynasty. It was the workplace and residence of 13 Emperors, concubines, and eunuchs.
- Walk to see the Hue Royal Antique Museum. It has many authentic and valuable items of Emperors from the Nguyen Dynasty.
- Visit the Dong Ba Market (the biggest market in Hue city). It stays open between 4 am and 6 pm.
- Have lunch at a local food restaurant in Hue.
- Continue on to the tomb of the second emperor of the Nguyen dynasty, emperor Minh Mang, who had 600 concubines, 142 children, and 78 sons.
- Take the private car to visit the tomb of the 12th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty- emperor Khai Dinh. The beautiful tomb is bound to leave you awestruck.
- Head to the Incense making village, where you can learn how to make incense by hands with the local people. And if you do well, they would offer you a job there. Pay is two dollars per hour.
Finish the tour around 5 pm.
