Itinerary

1. Hoi An Countryside & Ancient Town

   • Start the tour after pick-up from the hotel at 08:30 am and visit Hoi, An ancient town and countryside. You can choose cycling or taking a private car to go to the water coconut forest (7 hectares wide).

   • After arriving, take the basket boats to go fishing crabs with local fishermen. In addition, you will have a chance to learn how to use simple fishing tools to catch crabs, fish etc. If you are lucky, you will catch some.

   • Afterwards, visit a local family to attend a “Cooking class“. You will learn how to cook local specialities such as Banh Khoai (Vietnamese rice pancakes) and Nem ran (Fried spring rolls). This will be a real competition between you guys. In the end, the local Master Chef will tell you who would be the best cook of the day, and you will get a prize.

   • After the cooking course, you will have lunch with what you have just cooked; moreover, you can drink some fresh coconut water from the family garden.

   • After having lunch, enjoy a foot massage with the local medicines from local herbs.

   • Around 1:30 pm, you will visit Hoi An ancient town. It was as known as the biggest international trading port in Vietnam. From the 16th century, it was one of the greatest ports in the world. Hoi An is beautiful with colourful lanterns, ancient houses, and clubhouses. They were built following the Chinese and Japanese architecture.

   • Visit some of the other highlights of the city, such as: 

     • Japanese covered bridge

     • Tân Ký ancient house

     • Phuc Kien ancient clubhouse.

   • Finally, visit the Hoi An theatre to enjoy wonderful performances such as plays, dramas, Champa dance and play Bingo games.

   • End the tour by making some lanterns and visiting the Hoi An market.
