Itinerary

Day 1: Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai
9:00 AM: Get picked up from your Hotel.
Walk down to Y Linh Ho, a village of the Hmong minority. on the way, witness the 100-year-old rice terraces.
Head for lunch at Y Line Ho village.
Trek to the village of Lao Chai, an established Black Hmong village, with your Sapa tour guide.
Be welcomed by a local family who runs the first and only homestay owned by the Black Hmong minority in the Sapa region. Dinner and overnight homestay accommodation.

Day 2: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Sapa
Open your window and be treated to spectacular views across the rice terraces in the morning.
8:00 AM: Head for a crackling start with breakfast.
Walk to Ta Van, after breakfast, where you will visit the Giay minority people, situated on the Muong Hoa river. Traditionally, the Giay were fishermen who fished with bamboo sticks and cook their catch inside the bamboo. Today, you are more likely to see the Giay working in fields planting or harvesting rice.
Continue to walk through a bamboo forest to reach Giang Ta Chai waterfall.
Break for a picnic lunch at Giang Ta Chai waterfall.
Take a walk down the main road to meet your car for transportation back to Sapa.
