Cu Chi tunnels half day
- Meet your tour guide at a pre-decided location or your accommodation and drive to Cu Chi.
- Learn about the Cu Chi Tunnels by watching a documentary about the sophisticated artificial tunnels.
- Visit functioning underground cities in Cu Chi and see numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centres and kitchens. There was plenty of evidence of the fierce battle in the 1960s when Cu Chi was a 'Free Target Zone'.
Explore an underground town.
- Walk into the jungle and discover traps, secret entrances, bunkers, and underground hideouts.
- Attend a rice-paper (spring roll skin) workshop.
- Enjoy tea with cassava, the food eaten by guerrillas during the war.
- Optionally, try shooting wartime rifles at a surcharge of 2.5 USD/bullet (1 line has ten bullets).
