Description

Itinerary

Day 1: Tashkent
- Arrive at the international airport of Tashkent and meet the local tour guide and transfer to the hotel.
Have your breakfast and take a tour of Tashkent city by visiting Kokaldosh Complex, Khast Imam, Barak Khan Madrassa, Kaffal Shashi mausoleum, Djami mosque and Chorsu Bazaar Market.
Visit the Museum of Applied Arts, Opera, the Ballet theatre named after A. Navoi – the great uzbek poet, Independence Square, Amir Temur Square. Visit the beautiful metro in Tashkent, where every station is decorated according to various themes.
Have dinner and stay overnight in Tashkent.

Day 2: Urgench & Khiva
Have an early breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport to catch the flight to Urgench.
Arrive in Urgench and transfer to Khiva (30 km).
Tour Ichan Kala, an old town dating to the fifth century BC which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Visit West Gate Ata Darvaza, the statue of the great scholar Al-Khorezmi, complex of Muhammed Aminkhan (XIX) along with the Madrassa of Aiminkhan, Kalta Minor Minaret, the Fortress of Kunya Ark, which has a reception Hall, the Royal Mosque, the Harem, and old Prisons.
See the Tash Khovli Palace, which includes the mausoleum of Pahlavan Mahmud, the complex of Islam Khodja, the West and the East Gate Complex, Palvan Darvaza, the Ak Mosque, the Madrasse Allakulikhan and Kutlimurad, the Royal Caravanserai with its fascinating bazaar and more.
End with a visit to the Summer Palace Nurullabay which is famous for its strange architecture.
Return to the hotel for dinner and stay overnight in Khiva.

Day 3: Dashoguz
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the Uzbekistan - Turkmenistan border point, where you will have to complete the border formalities.
Meet the tour guide on Shavat border and transfer to Dashoguz city where we lead our way to Kunya Urgench.
Visit mausoleum of Sultan Tekesh, the monument of Sultan Tekesh located in fortress of Kyrk Molla .
See Arslan which is a monument located between Dashgala fortress and the mausoleum of Tekesh. Also, visit the mausoleum of Torebeg Hanum which was built for the honor of Torebeg Hanum.
Drive to Derwaza (300 km) which is rich in natural gas and has the famous gas crater which is 70 metres in diameter and burns to date.Local people call it "The door to Hell".
Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Ashgabat
Drive to Ashgabat (360 km), the capital of Turkmenistan.
See that the natural oases between sands and foot-hills are improved by man, urban environment harmoniously interact with the natural land-scape. The combination of unique architectural buildings, numerous museums, exhibition halls and theaters attracts attention of guests of the capital.
Check in to the hotel and have lunch at the Turkish restaurant - Nurana.
Visit National Carpet Museum. Recreational center “Alem”. Arch of Neutrality. The Neutrality monument and etc.
Rest & night at hotel.

Day 5: Nisa
Have breakfast and visit the ancient city of Nisa which is mentioned in UNESCO's world heritage list. You can enjoy the sight of the ruins of Nisa in a picturesque valley near Bagheri.
Visit the ancient capital of Parthian kings, the National Museum of Ethnography & History, etc.
Drive to the hotel and have dinner at the restaurant Merdem in a Turkmen Yurt.
Stay overnight in Ashgabat.

Day 6: Mari
Have breakfast at hotel and meet fellow tourists.
Transfer to the airport of Ashgabat to catch your domestic flight from Ashgabat to Mari. Transfer to the hotel and check in.
Take a tour of the Old Merv and visit famous attractions such as Mausoleum of Soltan Sanjar, big and small Gyz Gala and more.
Have lunch at a local restaurant and post lunch, visit the Museum of History and Ethnography.
Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Farap border & Bukhara
Drive to Farap border (around 200 km) Lebap region.
After completing customs formalities at the border, drive to Bukhara. This city is known for strange "shaggy hats" on the top of minarets.
Upon arrival at the hotel, check in and have lunch and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Stay overnight in Bukhara.

Day 8: Full Day at Bukhara
Visit the mausoleum of the Samanids, the mausoleum of Tchashma Ayoub and other attractions.
Continue to Kalon Complex and see Kalon Minaret of the twelfth century, Poi-Kalyan complex that includes minaret of Kalyan (XII), Medrese of Mir-Arab (XVI), Kalyan Mosque (XV), and the old covered market (Bazaar).
Have dinner at Medrese Nadir Devan Begi with a folklore show.
Stay overnight in Bukhara.

Day 9: Shakhrisabz & Samarkand
Have breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Samarkand via Shakhrisabz (250 km, 3.5 hrs).
Start with an excursion to Shahrisabz by visiting the mausoleum of Jakhongir in Dor-us Saodat Memorial Complex, remains of Ak-Saray Palace, Dor-ut Tilavat Ensemble with Kok-Gumbaz Mosque and burial vault of Tamerlane’s father.
Drive to Samarkand (90 km, 1.5 hrs).
Have dinner at the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 10: Samarkand
Have your breakfast at the hotel.
See in Samarkand, the town of Blue domes, visit Ulugbek Observatory, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, and Afrosiab Museum which displays the model of ancient city - fortress walls, pottery, weaponry, coinage, altars and mural paintings of the 7th century.
Break for lunch.
Vist Registan Square, with its three Madrasse completely covered with tiles and mosaics of lapis lazuli is one of the most extraordinary monuments of Central Asia with the Ulugbek Madrassa, the Sher Dor Madrassa and Tilla Kari Madrassa.
Have dinner and overnight stay in Samarkand.

Day 11: Return to Tashkent
Visit Gur-Emir Mausoleum, Bibi- Khanum Mosque built by Timur for his favorite wife, and the the city’s biggest Siyab Bazaar which has pyramids of melons, bags of walnuts, seedless raisins and dried apricots, bunches of grapes and alluring piles of figs.
Transfer to Tashkent (300 km).
Arrive at Tashkent and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Departure
Transfer to Tashkent International Airport for your journey back home.
