Our 7-day trip from April 11 to April 17, 2024, will be to Mexico City, which begins in the capital of Mexico. Explore the Historic Center and visit iconic landmarks such as Zocalo and the National Palace. Then, delve into Aztec history at the Major Temple Museum. Next, witness the ancient wonders of Teotihuacán, enjoy the Ballet Folklorico de México, and cruise Xochimilco's canals. Discover Taxco's silver craftsmanship. This journey wraps up with a final free day in Mexico City.
Itinerary

Day 1: Mexico City (Mexico City Sightseeing Tour and Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe)
- Welcome to Mexico City! Our staff welcomes you at the airport and leaves you registered at your hotel.
- You will soon enjoy a tour of the main streets of Mexico City, starting in the Historic Center, where the "Gran Tenochtitlan" of the Aztec Empire was established and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
- Visit The Zocalo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace, and the Palace of Fine Arts, among others. On Reforma Avenue, you will find several monuments that have given shape and identity to the city, such as the Angel of Independence, the Diana Cazadora and the recent Column of the Bicentenary.
- Afterwards, we moved to the Basilica of Guadalupe, the most important pilgrimage center in Mexico, the most important Marian sanctuary on the continent and one of the most visited places in the Catholic world, which annually receives over twenty million pilgrims. In the evening, we moved to the restaurant Guadalajara de Noche, located in Plaza Garibaldi, serving authentic Mexican food.
- The evening continues with a live performance of folk dances and a mariachi band. Dinner in a local restaurant. Night in Mexico City.

Day 2: Mexico City (Major Temple and Museum of Anthropology)
- Breakfast at the Hotel. Please transfer to the Major Temple Museum, where we will make a tour of pre-Hispanic and colonial Mexico, visiting its rooms, which house archaeological remains such as the monoliths of Coyolxauhtli and Tlaltecuhtli or the altar Huey Tzompantli.
- Later, we will arrive at the Museum of Anthropology, one of the most important in the world that brings together the most extensive archaeological collection of the cultures of Mesoamerica, with pieces such as the "Stone of the Sun" or Aztec Calendar and the "Coatlicue", among many others. Through its 23 exhibition rooms, you will learn more about the thought, life and culture of the different civilizations that developed in ancient Mexico, back to the hotel.
- We spent the night in Mexico City.

Day 3: Mexico City (Pyramids of Teotihuacán + Ballet Folklorico in Fin Arts Palace)
- Beginning with Breakfast at the Hotel. Soon after, we move towards Teotihuacán, the "City of the Gods", and visit its most outstanding buildings: the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon (with free time to climb up to its tops), the Palace of Quetzal-Mariposa, the Temple of the Feathered Serpent, the Causeway of the Dead, among others.
- In the afternoon, we move to the Palace of Fine Arts to witness the famous show of the Ballet Folklorico de México. For three hours, you will be fascinated by the dance choreographies of Mexico's past and present and will find the contagious energy of dancers with their vibrant costumes.
- To end an unforgettable evening, we will move to the revolving restaurant Bellini, where you will enjoy an exquisite menu in the heights of the capital. Dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 4: Mexico City (Xochimilco)
- Breakfast at the Hotel. We then head towards the south of the city. Arrival in Xochimilco, which in Nahuatl means "Campo de Flores", and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
- Then, you will board a traditional and colourful boat (typical wooden boat) to navigate along its mystical rain canals that have existed since pre-Hispanic times, when the Valley of Mexico was distinguished by lakes and lagoons almost entirely.
- After having lunch, we board the Trajinera.
- We then moved back to our hotel.

Day 5: Mexico City-Cuernavaca-Taxco-Mexico City
- After the Breakfast at the hotel, we start for Taxco, visiting Cuernavaca, Buganvilias, or the "Eternal Spring" for its warm climate.
- Visit the Cathedral, built as a mission in 1552, one of the oldest in the country and representative of the time of the viceroyalty; and panoramic view of the Palace of Cortés, ordered to be built by Hernán Cortés in the immediate years to the Conquest of Mexico.
- Arrive at the Magical Village of Taxco, a picturesque colonial and mining town on a hill with winding cobblestone streets, cosy squares, reddish tile houses, and a solid old-world atmosphere that has survived for hundreds of years. It is famous for its silver craftsmanship.
- Visit the church of Santa Prisca, one of the largest in Mexico, built-in 1759 by the French immigrant José de la Borda.
- Lunch in a local restaurant.
- Time to visit silversmiths.
- Return to Mexico City. Night in Mexico City.

- Breakfast at the Hotel. Free day to enjoy the majesty of Mexico City.
- Multiple activities and tours are available to complement your itinerary—night in Mexico City.

Day 7: Mexico City
- Breakfast at the Hotel. On time, transfer from the hotel to Mexico City Airport.
