Description

This tour focuses on wildlife in a swamp, outside New Orleans. The weather, mainly the temperature, determines what you will see on this tour. It is not uncommon to see alligators, turtles, snakes, raccoons, pigs, egrets, bald eagles; to say nothing of the natural beauty of the swamp itself.

Itinerary

Swamp Tour

It takes about an hour to drive to and from the swamp. We board a swamp boat with a roof, guard rails, and spend about 1.5-2 hours looking for wildlife. We encourage photographs, particularly as the board captain feeds the alligators, pigs, and raccoons!

We tour rain or shine and at the discretion of the boat captain.

Children are welcome as are visitors with mobility limitations, but please discuss these limitations before booking the tour to ensure that we can provide a safe cruise.

The captain has the right to add additional visitors to the cruise. We can arrange to have an exclusive sail at a higher cost.
