As an avid outdoorsman, runner and cyclist, it is safe to say that an office environment was not where Sean was going to be happiest.“When I was thinking about careers, people would tell me to stick to what I was most passionate about.I think the most difficult thing for me was trying to get my head around that.I like hanging by a rope hundreds of feet off the side of a huge rock face: who is going to pay me to do that?” Fortunately for Sean, he didn’t forget the advice and he never lost his passion.“Bonvoy has been a very natural evolution for me." When you have the level of passion and drive that we do and you’ve experienced what we have, it is natural that you want to share it."That is why I started Bonvoy; to help people experience the outdoors in a way that is accessible and affordable." Sean attended Oklahoma State University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in MIS and an MBA.He has traveled throughout the United States and abroad including to China to compete in what is hailed by many, including Time magazine, as one of the toughest adventure races in the world.Over a six day period he trekked 150 miles across the Gobi Desert with nothing to sustain him except what he could fit in his backpack.
