Description
Let's walk in Lincoln's footsteps as we visit many of the places at which he spent time during his administration and Mary Surratt's Tavern where the conspiracy to assassinate Lincoln was planned and Fords Theater where the assassination took place. Beginning at Freedom Plaza, we'll see the Willard Hotel, where he stayed the night before his inauguration, the White House, St Johns Church, New York Avenue Presbyterian Church.

- Meet your tour guide and start the tour at Freedom Plaza.
- See the Willard Hotel.
- Walk to the north front of White House and talk about it;s history as well as Lincoln's stay there.
- Walk by St Johns Church and New York Avenue Presbyterian Church.
- See where he visited wounded at the current Portrait Gallery and where he read telegrams at theMonaco Hotel.
- See Fords Theater and the Peterson House (if tickets are available we may visit the inside).
- We'll end at the site of Mary Surratt's Tavern.
