I became a guide after retiring from Ernst & Young where I spent 35 years developing and running internal training programs and seminars for high-end clients.I became a tour guide because I love living in DC and sharing my love of it with others. I'm not only experienced guiding adults, families and students, but also a 40 year resident of Washington. My husband grew up in the city as did my children. My goal is always to share the importance of the memorial/sight as well stories about its history, its role in DC history and other interesting anecdotes.
I enjoy being a tour guide and am committed to continually enhancing my own skills as well as that of the guiding professional as a whole. As such, I am currently the president of National Federation of Tourist Guide Associations-USA. I am also active in the local tour guide association where I am a long time board member and currently serve as the co-chair of the Government and Tourism committee.
