Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Kihihi, Drive to Bwindi
- Today morning, you will be picked up up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and transferred to the airport.
- Here, you will check in for your domestic flight to Kihihi airstrip.
- Upon arrival in Kihihi, you will drive through the beautiful Ugandan countryside to the ancient rainforests of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
- On the way to the mountainous southwestern region of Uganda, you will drive through terraced hillsides dotted with traditional settlements.
- Expect to arrive at our picturesque accommodation on the forest's edge in time for lunch. Bwindi's impenetrable national park is a magnificent green swathe of dense rainforest and is one of the most biologically diverse areas on Earth. It is a habitat for nearly 350 bird species, 120 mammals, and other insect species. The park is home to the endangered mountain Gorillas.
- In the evening will take a community walk.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
- Begin your gorilla trek in the early morning at the park headquarters with the briefing.
- Set off into the forests with guides and trackers experienced in locating the gorillas. Gorilla tracking requires a level of fitness due to the terrain. However, clients can mention prior if they prefer a moderate or stricter challenge. The hike takes 3-8 hours, depending on how far the gorillas have moved as they foraged. The experienced ranger guides will willingly share a lot of information about the history and lifestyle of the gorillas with you as you hike.
- You will spend 1 hour in their presence photographing, observing or recording. All Gorilla families are fully habituated and, therefore, not aggressive.
- After spending an hour with the gorillas, we return to the lodge and relax.

Day 3: Flight to Entebbe and Departure
- After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kihihi airstrip to catch your flight back to Entebbe Airport.
- The flight departs from Kihihi at 09:30hr and arrives in Entebbe at 11:25hr.
- In Entebbe, you shall check-in for your departure flight to your next destination.
