Itinerary

1. Day 1: Kampala- Murchison Falls National Park

   • Arrive at Kampala, meet with the tour guide and drive north towards Nakasongola plains. You can choose to visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to track rhinos. 
   • Have lunch on the way. 
   • Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park for dinner and overnight stay. 

   Drive time: Approximately 5-6 hours

   Lodging: Baker’s Lodge/Paraa Safari Lodge/Murchison River Lodge

   Meals: Lunch and Dinner

2. Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park

   • Have breakfast at the lodge, then start your Hot Air Balloon safari on the Paraa side of Murchison Falls National Park.
   • Attend a short briefing about the activity from the pilot, then get onboard. 
   • Enjoy the view of the rivers, trees and animals from above. Get a certificate after the ride. 
   • Have breakfast in the open in the National Park. 
   • Travel to the lodge for lunch and relax. 
   • Go for an afternoon boat cruise to the base of the falls.
   • Set off from Paraa jetty up stream to the base of the falls where water squeezes itself through a small gorge. 
   • Spot the many water animals of the area and try bird-watching. 
   • Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

   Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

3. Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park

   • Have breakfast, then travel to the Delta area. 
   • Start your boat trip and try bird-watching. 
   • Go for a Game drive and spot many wild animals in the National Park. 
   • Travel back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

   Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

4. Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park- Kampala/ Entebbe

   • Have breakfast, then drive to Kampala/ Entebbe for your flight back home. 

   Drive time: Approximately 5-6 hours

   Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
