Day 1: Kigali- Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
- Arrive at Kigali Airport, Rwanda, meet with the tour guide and travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in Uganda.
- Drive through the hills and enjoy the scenic view.
- Cross over to Uganda at the Katuna or Chanika border with a stop at Kabale town for lunch.
- Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for dinner and overnight stay.
Drive time: Approximately 4-5 hours.
Meals: Lunch and dinner.
Lodging: Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge or Trekkers Tavern Lodge. -
Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
- Have breakfast, then walk to the Park Headquarters with your packed lunch for briefing about gorilla trekking. Your guide will take you through all the Dos and Don’ts while with the mountain gorillas.
- Travel to the starting point to begin your trek into the forest to look for the gorilla family you have been assigned.
- Track the gorillas, spend time with them and observe their behaviours.
- Have a picnic lunch.
- Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park- Kigali
- Have breakfast, then drive to Kigali International Airport for your flight back home.
