Description
This three days Queen Elizabeth adventure is an ideal experience of this fantastic park; the trip starts and ends at Entebbe. On this trip, expect a game drive to view wildlife in their natural habitat with the possibility to see the big four out of the big five, say the lions, leopards, buffalos and elephants roaming in the plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. A boat trip/ launch on the Kazinga channel takes 1-2 hours. While on this boat cruise, expect to see different water birds, a considerable hippo population, and crocodiles, among others. Sometimes even elephants can be seen here enjoying a very nice swim.
Itinerary

Day 1: Entebbe - Queen Elizabeth National Park
- After your early morning breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth national park, southwest of Uganda, lasting 5-6 hours with a stopover at Kayabwe, where a monument is built to mark the equator crossing. A local water experiment will be conducted to prove that, indeed, the earth split into two halves, the south and the north spheres.
- The journey will take you through the beautiful hills and plains of Ankole land, an area with long-horned cows, proceeding to the beautiful sceneries of Bunyaruguru, where you can see the stunning view of Lake Nkugute which is beautifully curved in the shape of the map of Africa.
- Check in at your lodge in the afternoon and proceed to a fantastic chimp tracking experience at Kyambura Gorge. Later in the evening, retire at your lodge, have dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive Afternoon Boat Trip
- After your breakfast, we will embark on a game drive, searching for wildlife. Kasenyi plains, known as a mating ground, offer many animals an opportunity to encounter animals such as kobs, leopards, buffalos, and waterbucks, to mention but a few. Predators such as lions and hyenas are also attracted to these plains.
- After a three-hour game drive, you will head back to your lodge to refresh, have lunch and later proceed to Mweya jetty to catch up with a 4 pm boat trip along the Kazinga channel.
- The boat trip allows you to explore the 4km long Kazinga channel, which links the twin lakes, Edward and George. This channel is renowned for the most significant number of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and buffalos that can be seen on the banks, sometimes swimming or quenching their thirst.
- After that, we will do a short game drive along the channel track as we return to your lodge.

Day 3: Entebbe
- After your cup of coffee, we embark on a journey back to Entebbe via Fort portal tourism city with a possibility of stopping over for lunch there or proceeding to Mubende town, from where we will also visit the Nakayima tree and learn about the rich history in accordance to the Buganda people tradition. Afterwards, we will head straight to Entebbe, marking the end of your three days of Queen Elizabeth Park adventures.
