Itinerary

Day 1: Visit the Murchison Falls National Park
- We will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel or guesthouse and transport you to Murchison Falls National Park. We'll stop for lunch in Masindi before driving through the park for 90 kilometres to Paraa. On the way, we'll stop at the top of the falls, which offers a spectacular view of Murchison Falls National Park and the Nile.
- We'll arrive in Paraa late in the afternoon, and Luxury Tour participants will take a ferry over the Nile to Paraa Safari Lodge. We will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking and lunch before proceeding through Karuma Bridge for Budget Tour guests to arrive at Fort Murchison, just beyond the park's limits, later in the afternoon." The day will end with a cold drink and a spectacular view of the Nile, and the evening will bring all the bustle of an African night.

Day 2: National Park of Murchison Falls
- The day will be spent watching wildlife in the park and along the Nile. We'll leave early in the morning (if staying at Nile Safari Lodge or Red Chili Paraa, we'll cross the Nile with the ferry at 7 a.m.) and embark on a wildlife drive from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., viewing lions and giraffes and other creatures.
- In the afternoon (2.00 pm to 5.00 pm), we will take a spectacular Nile launch ride up to the falls, allowing you to observe hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and various birds.

Day 3: National Park of Murchison Falls
- The boat will transport us downstream to the delta, where the Nile meets Lake Albert, early in the morning. This 5-6 hour journey will show us the grandeur of this national park, particularly the delta, with all the varied species. This is an excellent opportunity to observe the rare Shoebill Stork! You can rest in the afternoon, and if you are on the Luxury Tour, you can swim at your separate Lodges.

Day 4: Kibale National Park
- We will leave early in the morning Leave for Kibale Forest National Park. On a clear day, the view from the top of the Albert rift from Lake Albert is breathtaking. We will arrive at Kibale Forest Camp in the afternoon and rest the night among the tropical jungle sounds. We will occasionally stay at Chimpanzee Guesthouse, which overlooks Nyabikere Crater Lake. The lake is famed for its frogs, which constantly perform a lovely concert at night.

Day 5: Chimp Walk & Swamp Walk
- We will begin the 4-hour chimp walk at 8 a.m., where you may spot ten other primates! NP Kibale is also well-known for its abundance of butterflies and birds. In the afternoon, we'll take a trip to Bigodi Swamp, home to a community-based project.
Day 4 and 5: Kibale Forest Camp - "Lazy" camping.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Early morning drive across the Crater Lake field to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Crater lakes arise due to velocity, with a powerful eruption blowing off the top of a volcano, creating a crater lake. There are several lakes of various sizes and characteristics. The craters are suitable for swimming, and there are frequent sightings of black and white colobus monkeys. Nyinambuga is one of Uganda's most famous lakes, having its image emblazoned on the reverse of the 20,000 shilling note. The travel via Kasese takes you across the arid plains' greenness. We arrive at Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park at about lunchtime. We'll visit Kyambura Gorge later in the day. You may encounter the chimps by taking a 3-4 hour hike into the Gorge's subterranean jungle.

Day 7: National Park of Queen Elizabeth
- This day is set out for a wildlife drive in the Queen Elizabeth National Park plains, where hundreds of Ugandan kobs, lions, and elephants may be found. A two-hour launch ride on the Kazinga Canal to observe all the creatures from the water's edge is also on the agenda.
- Our second full day in this lovely park! All-day game drives in Ishasha Sector looking for tree-climbing lions. Other wildlife, including herds of elephants and Ugandan Kobs, will be seen.

Day 9: Lake Bunyonyi And Crater Bay Cottages
- After breakfast, we will go to Lake Bunyonyi, a magnificent location surrounded by Western Ugandan highlands. The drive takes us through a stunning area known as the "Switzerland of Africa." Lake Bunyonyi is well-known for its birds, otters, and delicious crayfish. We shall do so. Spend the remainder of the day here, swim, try a canoe, or relax and watch the over 300 bird species from the balcony (bring your binoculars)!

Day 11: Gorilla hike
- Today is Gorilla tracking day. The Nkuringo/Nshongi/Mishaya/Kahungye group in South Bwindi is 30 minutes by driving from Gorilla Valley Lodge or Gorilla Safari Lodge. You will arrive at the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park offices at 7:45 a.m. for a pre-briefing, and at 8:30, you will begin the journey, which will last no more than an hour. All guests must return to the starting location by 7:00 PM. Physical fitness is advised.

Day 12: Kisoro
- We'll start early in the morning towards Kisoro, passing through stunning scenery known as the "Switzerland of Africa": mountains, lakes, hills with agricultural terraces, tropical rainforest, and bamboo forest. The scene opens under us on the last hill, taking in the broad plains between Uganda, Rwanda, and Congo, with the Virunga volcanoes dominating the picture. Kisoro, near the valley's bottom, is where we'll stay at the well-known Travelers Rest Hotel.
- Dian Fossey, the famed American 'gorilla-woman', visited the Travelers Rest Hotel numerous times in the 1960s to complete paperwork, rest, or meet people. "It was my second home," Fossey remarked of the motel. The Travellers Rest Hotel is located just outside Kisoro and provides comfortable lodging for travellers seeing the endangered mountain gorillas. The hotel was created in a colonial style and completely rebuilt in 1999, providing a welcoming atmosphere.

Day 14: Lake Mburo
- We will depart for Lake Mburo National Park early in the morning. You will stop for lunch in Mbarara before continuing to Lake Mburo, a tiny but distinctive park that is the only one in Western Uganda containing impalas and zebras. In the afternoon, there will be a village/cultural stroll.

Day 15: Lake Mburo
- We'll go for a game walk first thing in the morning. A boat arrives in the afternoon Lake Mburo cruise, followed by a wildlife drive in the afternoon/early evening. This small park is home to 68 mammal species, including a considerable number of Impalas (the antelope dubbed "Kampala"), plains zebras, Uganda Kobs, duikers, bushbucks, topis, buffaloes, leopards, spotted hyenas, Defassa waterbucks, warthogs, and oribi. There are 315 different bird species.
- The vegetation is primarily open savannah with acacia, Olea, and Boscia trees. Lake Mburo National Park is a refuge for biodiversity and plants. Animals and birds abound on the riverside. Crocodiles and hippopotami are permanent residents, while buffalo visit during the dry season to drink. Fin feet, malachite kingfishers, pied kingfishers, African fish eagles, and Rüppell's eagles are among the many permanent birds. Long-tailed starlings, blue-headed coucals, tambourine doves, hammer kops, pelicans, herons, cormorants, red-faced barbets, grey-crowned cranes, papyrus yellow warblers, and even uncommon shoebills are among the birds to be found.

Day 16: Travel to Kampala
- The final leg of our journey will take us back to Kampala after breakfast. On the way back, you will stop for lunch in Mbarara town, and after Masaka, you will have the chance to halt at the Equator for picture shoots, souvenir shopping, and tea or coffee. We will then transport you to a guest house, camping, or hotel of your choosing in Kampala or Entebbe - or, if you choose to continue your vacation elsewhere or return home, we can transport you directly to Entebbe airport for your onward flight.
