Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival

   • Arrive at Entebbe Airport, where you will be greeted and transferred to your Kampala lodgings.
   • Your guesthouse will provide airport transportation.

2. Day 2: Entebbe - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

   • Drop off at Entebbe International Airport early for a domestic flight to Western Uganda.
   • Transfer by vehicle (1 hour) from Kihihi Airstrip to the home of the endangered mountain gorillas.
   • Settle into the lodge, have a lovely lunch, and join a guided nature walk in the afternoon to explore Uganda's flora and fauna.
   • Dinner and overnight stay at Mahogany Springs.

3. Day 3: Gorilla Tracking

   • Embark on a gorilla tracking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
   • Trek through hilly and muddy terrain to observe the gentle giants as they feed, play, and rest.
   • Mahogany Springs for dinner and overnight stay.

4. Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - Queen Elizabeth National Park

   • Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and meet your Florius Safari's adventure representative.
   • Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, stopping at Ishasha, the southern portion known for tree-climbing lions.
   • Check-in at the lodge, have lunch, and embark on a wildlife drive.
   • Dinner and overnight stay at Ishasha Wilderness Camp.

5. Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park

   • Morning game drives to spot the tree-climbing lions and other wildlife.
   • Transfer to the Mweya Peninsula with a game drive along the way.
   • Lunch at the resort overlooking the Kazinga Channel.
   • Afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga Channel, known for birdlife, elephants, buffaloes, and hippos.
   • Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge (deluxe room).

6. Day 6: Queen Elizabeth - Kibale National Park

   • Breakfast and departure from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Fort Portal.
   • Drive through tea plantations and visit the Crater Lakes region before reaching Kibale National Park.
   • Dinner and overnight stay at Kibale Primate Lodge (superior safari tent).

7. Day 7: Kibale Forest and Bigodi Swamp

   • Embark on a thrilling chimp tracking adventure in Kibale Forest, known for its primate diversity.
   • Guided nature walk in search of wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and more.
   • Visit the Bigodi Swamp, known for diverse bird and primate species.
   • Dinner and overnight stay at Kibale Primate Lodge (superior safari tent).

8. Day 8: Kibale Forest - Entebbe - Murchison Falls National Park

   • Breakfast and transfer to Kasese Airstrip for a domestic flight to Entebbe International Airport.
   • Fly directly to the Pakuba Airstrip in Murchison Falls National Park and check in at the lodge.
   • Sunset sail with nibbles and evening drinks to enjoy the surroundings.
   • Dinner and overnight stay at Paraa Safari Lodge (deluxe room).

9. Day 9: Murchison Falls National Park

   • Early breakfast and morning game drive to spot wildlife along the Nile's northern bank.
   • Afternoon boat tour on the Nile for up-close wildlife viewing.
   • Dinner and overnight stay at Paraa Safari Lodge (deluxe room).

10. Day 10: Entebbe - Murchison Falls National Park - Departure

    • Spend the final moments in Murchison Falls National Park before being transferred to Pakuba Airstrip.
    • Fly back to Entebbe with a day room at The Boma provided for relaxation, freshening up, and dinner.
    • Departure in the evening.
