Itinerary

1. Day 1: Entebbe - Murchison Falls NP

   • After breakfast, meet your Ugandan guide and transfer to Masindi. 

   • Stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Here, you can have a walking Safari to the Southern White Rhinos (optional 45$ p.p.) that have been re-introduced in Uganda.

   • Later, proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. Murchison covers 3,840-sq km and has recorded 76 mammal species and over 450 bird species. It lies 619 m at the delta and 1,292 at Rabongo Hill.

   • Have dinner and stay overnight.

2. Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

   • After a rather early breakfast, go on a morning game drive with your Murchison Falls guide/driver.

   • In the afternoon, take a boat cruise to the bottom of the Falls. The Falls are rare and magnificent; they are one of Africa’s wonders and a must-see for everyone. Also, from these falls, Murchison derives its name.

   • Catch up with pods of hippos, crocodiles and a vast number of water birds. There are high chances of seeing the Shoebill stock from which the tour company derives its name.

   • Enjoy these spectacular falls with a hike to the top of the falls, where the Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gap and at the bottom bask Huge Nile Crocodiles.

   • Have dinner and stay overnight.

3. Day 3: Chimp Tracking at Budongo Forest

   • After breakfast, begin your journey to Budongo Forest for yet another exciting adventure.

   • In the afternoon, indulge yourself in this remarkable walk with your Uganda tour guide.

   • Meet the real cousins of human beings, otherwise known as the Chimpanzees. Chimps share 98.7% of genes with humans.

   • Spend time with them and return to the lodge.

4. Day 4: Return to Entebbe

   • After breakfast, you will be driven back to Kampala or Entebbe.
