Itinerary

1. Day 1- Arrival in Entebbe

   • After your hearty breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to Lake Mburo National Park.
   • Make a stop at the Equator, where you will perform a simple experiment to experience a tropical balance and look at the traditional drums and crafts being made.
   • Then, proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, an extension of the Tanzanian plains with big herds of zebra, impala, eland and other ungulates.
   • Check-in at your lodge, have lunch and enjoy the whole evening relaxing at the lodge.

2. Day 2- Lake Mburo National Park

   • After early morning breakfast, explore the park with a very early morning bush walk searching for animals like zebras, impalas, topis, buffalos, elands. Bird watching opportunities are excellent here, with about 313 bird species recorded here, including the rare shoebill stork, White-winged Warbler, Crested Francolin, among others. 
   • After the game, return to your lodge for lunch before heading out for a boat ride that gives a chance to view water-loving animals like; Crocodiles, Hippopotamus and water birds, including; Fish Eagles, Pelicans, Black crake, purple Heron, Cormorant, pied Kingfisher and the rare shoebill stork. 
   • Return to your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight stay.

3. Day 3- Lake Mburo National Park - Entebbe

   • Have a relaxed breakfast, and then exit the park while doing a game drive.
   • Take a halt at the equator for lunch and proceed with the journey back to Entebbe for your drop off.
