Itinerary

1. Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

   • Depart from Kampala in the morning for your 3-day safari to Murchison Falls.
   • Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you’ll trek to observe the impressive rhinos being reintroduced to Uganda.
   • Enjoy lunch along the way and continue the journey to Murchison Falls National Park.
   • Arrive at Hornbill Bush Lodge to check in and relax.

   Overnight stay at Hornbill Bush Lodge.

2. Day 2: Morning Game-Drive and Afternoon Boat-Cruise on the Nile

   • Begin the day with a morning game drive through Murchison Falls National Park. Look out for big cats hunting, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and many other animals.
   • Drive through the circuits to the Delta point, where you can spot birds and mammals.
   • After lunch, embark on a 3-hour boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls. Along the Nile banks, enjoy close-up views of hippos yawning and grooming, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and a variety of beautiful bird species.

   Return to Hornbill Bush Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Game-Drive, Top of the Falls, and Transfer Back to Kampala

   • Check out of your lodge in the morning and enjoy a final game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. Spot more big cats and giraffes on your last safari drive.
   • Visit the top of Murchison Falls, where you’ll witness the explosive water gushing through a narrow crevice—a spectacular and memorable sight.
   • Start the journey back to Kampala, enjoying lunch along the way.
   • Your guide will drop you off in Kampala, marking the end of your 3-day Murchison Falls safari.
