Itinerary

1. Day 1 (25th Dec 2023): Arrival

   • Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your guide will meet you and welcome you for the safari. You will then be driven to your hotel in Entebbe for check-in. Later in the day, you will explore various places in Entebbe, including the Botanical Gardens, and enjoy a boat ride on Lake Victoria.

2. Day 2 (26th Dec 2023): Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

   • After breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed to the safari vehicle to begin your journey to Murchison Falls National Park with a stop in Masindi. You'll visit the top of the falls for a viewing experience and then check in at your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

3. Day 3 (27th Dec 2023): Chimpanzee Trekking in Budongo and Evening Boat Cruise

   • After an early breakfast at the lodge in Murchison Falls National Park, you will head to Budongo Forest for a chimpanzee trekking experience. The activity includes a briefing and a trek into the tropical forest to search for chimpanzees. You may also encounter other primates and learn about the local plant species. After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile to the bottom of the falls to spot wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

4. Day 4 (28th Dec 2023): Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

   • Start the day with breakfast at the lodge in Murchison Falls National Park. After checking out, you'll embark on a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, searching for various wildlife species. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, observing wildlife along the water shores. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

5. Day 5 (29th Dec 2023): Game Drive and Kazinga Boat Cruise

   • Begin the day with an early breakfast at the lodge. Then, engage in a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, spotting various wildlife. After the game drive, participate in a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel to see more wildlife and bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

6. Day 6 (30th Dec 2023): Drive to Bwindi National Park

   • Enjoy coffee or tea at the lodge in Murchison Falls National Park. After checking out, embark on a morning game drive to spot wildlife. Later, continue your drive to Bwindi National Park.

7. Day 7 (31st Dec 2023): Gorilla Trekking OR Community Tour

   • After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will proceed to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After briefing, you'll trek into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to search for gorillas, spending an hour with them. Alternatively, you can opt for a community tour, interacting with locals and learning about their way of life. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

8. Day 8 (1st Jan 2024): Drive to Lake Bunyonyi

   • After breakfast, your guide will drive you to Lake Bunyonyi. You'll enjoy views of terraced hills and take a boat ride to explore the islands. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

9. Day 9 (2nd Jan 2024): Pygmy Tour and Visit to the Mixed Farm

   • After breakfast at Lake Bunyonyi, engage in a pygmy tour to interact with the locals and learn about their culture. You'll also visit local farms to see crop cultivation and livestock. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

10. Day 10 (3rd Jan 2024): Drive to Lake Mburo National Park for Nature Walk

    • After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy an evening nature walk with a ranger guide, exploring the park on foot and spotting various wildlife species. Later, proceed to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

11. Day 11 (4th Jan 2024): Drive to Kampala

    • After a short morning game drive and breakfast at Lake Mburo National Park, continue your drive to Kampala. Your guide will drop you off at Serena Kigo to conclude the tour.
