Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival

   • Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to the Malakai Ecolodge in Entebbe.

2. Day 2: Drive to Bwindi National Park

   • After breakfast at your Entebbe hotel, embark on a journey to Bwindi National Park. Along the way, pass through Mbarara town, known for the Ankole people and their long-horned cattle. Lunch will be en route, and continue your drive, enjoying scenic countryside views. Check-in at Four Gorillas Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Gorilla Trekking

   • Start your day with tea or coffee at the lodge before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking. Trek into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with ranger guides, exploring the lush forest and encountering various bird species.
   • Once you locate the gorillas, you will spend an hour observing and capturing the experience.
   • After the trek, visit the local community to immerse yourself in their culture.
   • Return to Four Gorillas Lodge for dinner and overnight.

4. Day 4: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

   • After breakfast at Four Gorillas Lodge, you will journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
   • Enjoy wildlife sightings in the savannah while driving to Elephant Hab Lodge, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

5. Day 5: Game Drive and Kazinga Boat Cruise

   • Set out on an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi area, where you may spot early predators like leopards and lions, as well as other wildlife and bird species.
   • In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel, observing hippos, buffaloes, elephants, and more.
   • Return to Elephant Hab Lodge for dinner and overnight.

6. Day 6: Drive to Kibale National Park

   • After breakfast, depart for Kibale National Park. Enjoy a short game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park along the way, then spend the rest of the day relaxing at Kibale Forest Lodge.

7. Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking

   • Start your day with breakfast at the lodge, then head to Kanyanchu for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking.
   • Trek through Kibale Forest, encountering primates like black and white colobus monkeys and baboons, as well as various bird and butterfly species.
   • Spend an hour with the chimpanzees upon finding them.
   • Afterwards, engage in the Bigodi tour to explore the wetlands and see more bird species.
   • Return to Kibale Forest Lodge for dinner and overnight.

8. Day 8: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

   • After breakfast at the lodge, begin your journey to Murchison Falls National Park.
   • Enjoy lunch along the way, and check in at Pakuba Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

9. Day 9: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

   • Embark on an early morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, spotting various wildlife.
   • After lunch, take a boat ride on the Nile to view Murchison Falls and wildlife by the water.
   • Return to Pakuba Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

10. Day 10: Return to Kampala

    • After an early breakfast, drive back to Kampala with a stop at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a rhino tracking experience.
    • Enjoy lunch before continuing your journey to Kampala, where your guide will drop you off, concluding the tour.
