Description

Walk to the top of Murchison Waterfalls, ride a boat towards Lake Albert to see several birds and go on a game drive to view lions, elephants, giraffes, baboons, antelopes, and others. Revel in the beauty of nature and admire the variety of animals and birds in their natural habitats here in this 2-day safari!

Itinerary

Day 1: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park
- Travel from Entebbe at 07:00 am and head for Murchison Falls National Park. The journey will take about 6-7 hours.
- Relax and have lunch.
- Embark on a boat cruise at 02:00 pm for about 2 hours with your Ugandan tour guide.
- Walk to the top of the Murchison Waterfalls for 2 hours. This is the most fascinating experience as you feel the real sights & sounds of the waterfalls.
- Back to the hotel.
Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park
- Go for an early morning game drive at 06:30 am.
- Cross the ferry to the park to view waterbucks, lions, giraffes, antelopes, baboons, elephants and much more with your Ugandan tour guide.
- At midday, head back to the city.

Know Before You Go

The Nile Delta is the area where the Victoria Nile flows into Lake Albert. A boat safari down the river towards Lake Albert is a “must do” for every birdwatcher as the banks of the delta are home to hundreds of bird species, including the rare and prehistoric-looking shoebill stork. We will have a trail walk along the banks of the falls to get a closer glimpse of the falls, a photoshoot opportunity, a lively experience of the power of the falls.
