Description
Track Chimpanzees along with the other wild animals and birds in the Kibale National Park. Take a pit stop at Amabeere Ga Nyina Mwiru caves and hike to the Crater Lake field in Fort Portal before reaching the park. Take walks in the Bigodi wetland, see the Nakayima tree in Mubende and bicycle around the Mpanga tea estate as well.
Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala to Kibale National Park
Drive to Kibale National Park from Kampala.
Stop at Amabeere Ga Nyina Mwiru caves and hike to the Crater Lake field in Fort Portal.
Upon arrival at the park, relax and have dinner.
Overnight stay in the designated accommodation.

Day 3: Trek to track the Chimpanzees
In the morning, head out for Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park, which is the home to five habituated groups of chimpanzees along with red and blue duikers, bushbucks, sitatungas, bush pigs, giant forest hogs, common warthogs, African buffalo, leopards, African golden cats, servals, different mongooses and two species of otter.
In the afternoon, go for a walk in the Bigodi wetland, a bird paradise where more than 138 species of birds can be sighted.
Overnight stay in the designated accommodation.

Day 3: Tea Estate and Nakayima Tree
Drive back to Kampala.
Make a pit stop at the Mpanga tea estate and explore the area on a cycle.
Also, visit the Nakayima tree, which is believed to dish out blessings and solve problems in Mubende.
