Gear up for an exciting safari through the national parks of Uganda! See the chimpanzees and several other species of monkeys in the Kibale National Park. Enjoy Queen Elizabeth Park's scenic views as you track gorillas there and view various other wildlife like lions and indigenous animals at the Ishasha sector. Finally, go on a trek through the Bwindi Forest to admire the green cover of the rainforest and find the elusive mountain gorillas.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your hotel
- Arrive at the Entebbe International Airport and transfer to your hotel to relax after your flight, as you enjoy the cool breeze from Lake Victoria.
Dinner and overnight at Maries Royale Hotel Kampala

Day 2: Head to Kibale Forest Chimpanzee Park
- Drive to the Kibale Chimpanzee Park and enjoy the beauty of the Ugandan countryside. The scenic drive will remind you why Uganda is called the Pearl of Africa, especially when you reach the foothills of Mountain Rwenzori in Fort Portal for the Tea plantation trek.
Dinner and overnight at Nyinabulitwa Country Resort or any equivalent.

Day 3: Explore Kibale Park and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Drive to the Kibale National Park and start trekking to track chimpanzees. Chimpanzees are our closest cousins, though they are one of the most endangered primate species. There is 98% certainty of seeing them here.
- We locate the chimps by listening to their pant-hooting calls, then hustle to the area from where they are calling. Also, expect to see other primates such as Black and White Colobus Monkeys, Black-faced Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkeys, Olive Baboons and an incredible array of birdlife, including the Great Blue Turaco.
- Later, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park while viewing animals en route.
Dinner and overnight at Park View safari lodge/equivalent.

Day 4: Go for a game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Take a game safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Look out for Uganda Kobs, topis, elephants, lions, giant forest hogs, and Cape buffaloes. There are also several soda lakes filling ancient volcanic calderas where flamingoes reside seasonally.
- In the afternoon, go for a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel to see wildlife like hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and buffaloes, along with hundreds of birds of all kinds.
Overnight at Park View Safari Lodge or equivalent.

Day 5: Visit the Ishasha sector on the way to Bwindi Park
- Head to the southern part of the park called the Ishasha sector, home to the tree-climbing lions that can be seen resting on fig tree branches in the afternoon. You can see other mammals like buffalo herds, African Elephants and topis. It is also enriched with tropical bird species such as Saddle-billed storks.
- Then, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest, which is the home of mountain gorillas.
Overnight at Gorilla Mist Camp or equivalent.

Day 6: Explore Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
- Start trekking through the rainforest and bamboo covered slopes of Bwindi Forest Park, accompanied by an Uganda Wildlife Authority guide and other trackers as we track mountain gorillas. You will also have a chance to get a glimpse of the magnificent silverback.
- After trekking, you can either relax at your accomodation or go for an afternoon walk in a pigmy village to get some cultural insights into the local Batwa culture.
Overnight at Gorilla Mist Camp or equivalent.

Day 7: Return Kampala and transfer to the airport
- Drive back to Kampala lunch, with a stopover en-route at the equator line.
- Transfer to Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight back home. End of tour.
