Itinerary

1. Day 1: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park

   • Meet your local tour guide in Entebbe for pick-up and transfer.
   • Drive from Entebbe and head to Murchison Falls National Park. This drive takes 6 hours.

   • Stop by and take pictures of Lake Victoria which is the source of the Nile.

   • Enjoy lunch before we drive by the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, and look at magnificent endangered Rhinos. A well-trained guide will take you on a 2-hour walk as you see firsthand how the Rhinos spend their day.

   • Drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Arrive and check into your accommodation for the night as you anticipate the next day’s activities.

2. Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park

   • Have your breakfast and depart for an early morning game drive across the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest National Park where you will have chances of viewing lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalo, and elephants. This area also supports the secretary bird, and black-chested snake eagle, and many others.

   • Go for a boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls where the Nile thunders through a small 7-meter gap, plunging 43 m into Lake Albert.

3. Day 3: Kampala

   • Start with an early morning game drive to the top of Murchison Falls where you can get a closer look at the falls before departing for Kampala in the evening.

     • Optional: You could opt for an early morning Hot Air Balloon Safari for 45-60 mins over this beautiful park and take in the breathtaking scenery, at a cost of 250 USD per person.
