Itinerary

1. Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe - Bwindi

   • Early morning, you will be picked up by your driver-guide at 7 am and set out for your long drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. 
   • You will first have a safari briefing on what to expect and about everything you will cover in these three days. 
   • Stopover at the Equator for photographs. 
   • Proceed with your journey and have lunch in Mbarara, evening arrival in Bwindi. 

   Dinner and overnight at Ride 4 A woman stay. 

2. Day 2: Gorilla Tracking

   • The long wait is finally over, and your Gorilla trekking experience day is here. After a full breakfast at your lodge, you will transfer to the park offices for briefing, including all the information about how to behave with the gorillas and how long it might take. Gorilla trekking is the highlight of each visit to Uganda and still stands as one of Africa's most memorable primate experiences. 
   • The UWA Ranger guides will lead you into the impenetrable forest pushing through the undergrowth to track the Bwindi gorillas. This gorilla walk can take up to 6 hours, and a reasonable degree of fitness and a sturdy pair of walking shoes are a must-have for all trekkers. You are highly recommended to hire a porter to help carry your backpack and give you support whenever needed during hiking. Take a rain jacket, water and snacks along with you, but be sure to leave nothing behind in the forest.
   • After the trek, return to your lodge in the afternoon or evening for relaxation. 

   Overnight at your lodge in Bwindi at Ride 4 A woman stay. Full Board.

3. Day 3: Kabale - Kampala/Entebbe

   • Have breakfast, and drive back to Kampala, passing through the rolling hills of Kabale (Switzerland of Africa) with terraces and lush vegetation of the different areas.
   • Lunch en route and evening arrival in Kampala or Entebbe. 
   • Drop off at the hotel or at the airport to catch your flight back home. Breakfast and lunch.
