Itinerary

Day 1: Zanzibar/Dar es Salaam/Tanga - Mkomazi National Park
- After breakfast, get an early morning pick-up from your Africa safari guide at the hotel for a safari briefing and depart to Mkomazi National Park.
- Arrive in time for a full day of game viewing.
- After a hot lunch, return to the camp in the evening to freshen up and share stories around the campfire.
Dinner and overnight at your camp or lodge.
Day 2: Mkomazi National Park
- After breakfast, enjoy a full day of game viewing with a packed lunch to maximize your time. You will have the opportunity to see various endangered species, particularly the black rhino and wild dog. Given the biography of the area, Mkomazi exhibits unique habitats for over 75 species of mammals, such as the Fringe-eared oryx, lesser kudu, gerenuk, African wild dogs & black Rhinos & boasts of over 400 species of birds, such as ostrich, kori bustard amongst others.
- After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, drive back to the camp in the evening.
Day 3: Mkomazi to Dar es Salaam/Tanga
- Enjoy an early morning game, then return to the campsite for breakfast.
- Start the drive back to Dar es Salaam/Tanga, and there will be a chance to look out for more games. The guide will take you to your hotel or airport for your flight home.

Mkomazi National Park is a medium-sized wildlife sanctuary bordering Kenya's Tsavo West, located in Northeast Tanzania, some 200 km from Arusha. To the northwest is Kilimanjaro, and to the south are the Pare and Usambara Mountains.
