Itinerary

1. Day 1: Kilimanjaro Day Hike

   • Early in the morning, the hikers will depart from Moshi and head towards Marangu Gate. The drive is expected to take approximately one hour. Upon arrival, the hikers will complete the gate registration process before commencing their Kilimanjaro day hike. They will follow a narrow trail through the enchanting rainforest of Kilimanjaro, where they will encounter fellow mountain climbers descending from the summit. 
   • At Mandara Hut, the hikers will pause for lunch and have the opportunity to embark on a short walk to the magnificent Maundi Crater. On clear days, the views from Maundi Crater are breathtaking, with stunning vistas to the east over Taveta and to the northwest towards Mawenzi Peak. The effort expended on this brief hike is well rewarded by the awe-inspiring scenery. The hikers will have ample time to take photographs and capture the beauty of Maundi Crater before descending back down to the Marangu Gate.
   • Upon reaching the Marangu Gate, our vehicles will be ready and waiting to transport the hikers back to Moshi, concluding the memorable Kilimanjaro day hike experience.

2. Day 2: Moshi to Tarangire National Park

   • We will depart from Moshi in the early hours of the day and drive to Tarangire National Park, where huge termite mounds and ancient baobab trees await us. This park is renowned for its immense elephant population, picturesque scenery, and diverse birdlife. Tarangire offers enticing wildlife sightings, including elephants, lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, mongooses, buffaloes, and baboons. When our game drive comes to an end, we will proceed back to Arusha.
