Description
Embark on an exhilarating journey from Moshi or Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater, where you will encounter an array of wildlife, including black rhinos and lions, amidst breathtaking scenery. Then, spend the night at the iconic St. Catherine Monastery. The adventure continues with a visit to Lake Manyara National Park, offering sightings of elephants, zebras, and giraffes against the backdrop of the Rift Valley. Conclude with a return to your accommodation or transfer to the airport for onward travel.

Day 1: Ngorongoro Crater | St.Catherine Monastery
Pick up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha and drive to Ngorongoro Crater for game drives.
This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhinos and a pride of lions, including the magnificent black-manned males. There are also lots of colourful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other games you can see include leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals.
In the late afternoon, drive to St. Catherine Monastery.
Overnight at St. Catherine Monastery (with lunch, dinner & breakfast) or Similar.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Moshi/Arusha
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, which takes about 2 hours.
When you approach it from the east, the Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon, forming an impressive backdrop to the lake. In the tall trees of the groundwater forest, monkeys leap from branch to branch, and elephants stand in the shade of acacia on the escarpment. Other animals frequently seen are zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, and hippos.
In the afternoon, you transfer back to your hotel in Arusha, Moshi, or the airport.
