Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

   • On this 5-day luxury safari, you will experience the best Tanzania offers. Witness breathtaking wildlife, including monkeys in the forest, lions in trees, elephants traversing the bush, and various animals within a collapsed volcano.
   • Visit the iconic Serengeti National Park, home to 3 million animals. Countless awe-inspiring moments await; with some luck, you may see the Big Five. Experience the spectacular beauty of Tanzania.

2. Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

   • After breakfast, you will depart from Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. In the afternoon, your guide will set up a table for a hot lunch with various soft drinks. A glass of wine, tea, and coffee are also available.
   • Continue the game drive until the evening, when you will check into the lodge for dinner.
   • Afterwards, enjoy a night game drive then return to the lodge for your overnight stay.

   Manyara offers a great introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. The park has recorded more than 400 species and a visitor can expect to see 100 of these in a day. You can also expect to see the legendary tree-climbing lions and the large-tusked elephants in the acacia woodland.

3. Day 3: Serengeti National Park

   • Today, after breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park with a game drive en route.
   • Arrive at Serengeti in the afternoon for a hot lunch set up by your driver.
   • After lunch, you will continue a game drive in the park until evening.
   • Check in to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

   Serengeti offers arguably one of the most exhilarating game-viewing experiences in Africa. You will see herds of buffalos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, thousands of elands, wildebeests, topis, kongonis, impalas, and Grant’s gazelles. The broad range of different habitats, including swamps, soda lakes, woodland, and short grass plains, is also exciting to explore.

4. Day 4: Central Serengeti National Park

   • Have breakfast at the lodge and a full-day game drive in Central Serengeti. Your guide will serve a hot lunch.
   • Later in the afternoon, drive back to the lodge for the evening sundowner refreshments.

   Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

5. Day 5: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater

   • After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater boasts a deep volcanic crater, the world's largest unflooded and unbroken caldera. It is a breathtaking Natural Wonder of the World.
   • You will also visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake in the crater that hosts flamingos, hippos, and other water birds.
   • Your safari guide will serve a hot lunch in the crater.
   • Late in the afternoon, you will drive back to Arusha for the drop-off at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
