Day Trip to Lake Nakuru
- Meet the local tour guide at 8 am in Nairobi and drive to Lake Nakuru.
- Arrive in time for lunch and proceed for an afternoon game drive. The guide will tell you about the area's history and why it is known as the 'pink lake'. The lake area is home to thousands of pink flamingos and other birds, making this area a bird watchers paradise.
- Spot several wild animals, including the rhino and even the 'Big Five' except the elephant.
- Proceed towards the Rhino Sanctuary and see how the white rhino species like cape buffalo and waterbuck have been protected.
- Drive back to Nairobi and drop off at the hotel or the airport.
