Kilimanjaro Day Hike
- Meet the tour guide and start early in the morning. You will leave Moshi and depart to Marangu Gate for one day of Mount Kilimanjaro climbing. The drive will take approximately 1 hour.
- Complete the gate registration, and begin your hike. Walking along a narrow trail through the rainforest of Kilimanjaro up to Mandara Hut, you will meet mountain climbers descending from the top.
- Reach Mandara Hut, have your lunch, and there is a possibility to take a short walk to the Maundi Crater. The east's views over Taveta and the Northwest to Mawenzi Peak are stunning on a clear day, making the short hike well worth the effort.
- Have the opportunity to take photos once arriving at Maundi Crater before descending to the Marangu Gate with your Kilimanjaro mountain guide.
- Meet the vehicles waiting at Marangu Gate to take you back to Moshi.
