Day 1: Lemosho Glades to Big Tree Camp
Get picked up from your hotel at around 08:00 am and transfer to Lemosho gate located on the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro.
After the registration process, start the climb through the forests of the Lemosho glades to reach Big Tree camp, where you will be spending the night.

Day 2: Big Tree Camp to Shira 2 Camp
Today, you will cover a lot of ground as you trek across a plateau of grassy moorland and volcanic rock formations. Trek through Shira 1 Camp, from where you get to enjoy mesmerizing views of Kibo Peak.
Continue the journey to Shira 2 Camp and be prepared for steep climbs. On the way, view the Northern Ice fields from the western side of the mountain with some unique views of Kibo. A steady climb across the moorland of the Shira Plateau will help you in getting acclimatised while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Day 3: Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp
Today, your trek starts on an exciting note as you get to witness amazing scenic views of the surroundings.
Enjoy walking through the climatic zone of the upland desert and on the lava ridges beneath the glaciers of the Western Breach.
Reach the distinct pinnacle of the Lava Tower (4,640 meters), your high point for the day and a great place to enjoy lunch.
In the afternoon, post-lunch, get ready for a steep descent to the campsite, which is located at the base of the Great Barranco Valley (3,960 meters), sheltered by towering cliffs with extensive views of the plains below.
Stay overnight at the camp.

Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Start the day with a descent into the Great Barranco, a huge ravine, followed by a steep exit through the Great Barranco Wall, which divides this site from the southeastern slopes of Kibo.
Passing underneath the Heim and Kersten glaciers, head towards the Karanga valley. From here, climb steeply up from Karanga valley to Karanga camp (3,963 meters).
For those who want to get more of trekking and hiking, there is a mid-afternoon acclimatisation trek up to 4,200 meters.
As the dusk falls, return to the camp for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
After breakfast, set out for a walking tour to Barafu camp located at 4,640 meters. The challenging climb will take you across some desolate and scree slopes with almost no vegetation.
Upon arrival at the camp, have lunch and relax in the afternoon.
In the evening, get ready for an early dinner and retire for the day as you will have to wake up again late in the night for the trek.

Day 6: Summit to Uhuru Peak
Start off at around midnight, and climb steeply up to the summit glaciers. Be prepared as you will be gaining significant altitude over a very short horizontal distance.
Land on the crater rim at Stella Point (5,739 meters) as the sun begins to rise. After a steep climb, you will be rewarded with spectacular views of ice cliffs within the crater and the jagged Mawenzi peak.
After walking for an hour, you will finally reach the summit, Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters). Enjoy a bird's-eye view of the surrounding beauty and relish the freshness of nature.
After spending some time at the top, start descending to Barafu Camp via Stella Point for breakfast with your Kilimanjaro trekking guide.
After breakfast, head to Millennium Camp for a well-earned rest.

Day 7: Trek Millennium Camp to Mweka Gate
As the dawn breaks, get ready for a gentle trek down to Mweka Gate, where you will complete the park formalities and receive certificates.
Get aboard the vehicles and return to your hotel in Moshi.
End of the tour.
