Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Kilimanjaro International Airport

   • Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, and meet your driver/safari tour guide. Get assistance with customs and immigration formalities.

   • Thereafter, drive to Arusha town.

   Dinner and overnight at Mvuli Hotel (Bed, Dinner, Lunch and Breakfast included)

2. Day 2: Game drive in Tarangire National Park

   • Head to Tarangire National Park and explore the wildlife with your Tarangire safari tour guide. 

   • Admire the view from the lookout point at the lodge, which is located within the park.

3. Day 3: Game drive in Serengeti National Park

   • Head towards the Serengeti National Park. En route, there is an opportunity to visit Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world.  

   • After lunch, drive into the park along with your Serengeti safari tour guide and spend the rest of the afternoon game viewing in the vast plains. 

   • Return to your special tented camp for the night.

4. Day 4: Game drive in Serengeti National Park

   • Spend a full day in Serengeti National Park.

   • Witness the wide variety of wildlife with your safari tour guide will choose the best spotting locations. 

   • Return to your special tented camp for the night.

5. Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

   • Head for a morning game drive in Serengeti with your safari tour guide. 

   • Drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and to the rim of the crater, where you will spend the night.

6. Day 6: Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater

   • Start the day with an early morning game drive before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. 

   • During the drive in Ngorongoro, you have a chance to glimpse something of the Masai way of life. After stopping at the entrance gate, where there is a chance to learn more about this fascinating volcanic landscape, drive around the rim of the Crater itself, and from here, you can look down and see the herd of wildebeest or buffalos.

   • Finally, descend into the crater. The crater walls provide a natural sanctuary for the animals, which means there is plenty to see: lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino and leopard. 

   • In the late afternoon, travel back to your special tented camp.

   Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Kirurumu Tented Camp: Full board.

7. Day 7: Game drive in Lake Manyara National Park

   • Depart from your lodge and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. 

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch in the national park. 

   • In the late afternoon, drive back to your special tented camp.

8. Day 8: Cultural Tour in Mto wa Mbu

   • Visit Maasai bomas in Mto wa Mbu before you drive back to Arusha. 

   • Get an inside look at the homes and exquisite crafts of Mto wa Mbu’s many tribes. Meet locals and learn about banana beer, Makonde woodcarvings, and tribal painting techniques; the village provides a great introduction to everyday life in Africa. 

   • In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha.

9. Day 9: Arusha to Dar es Salaam

   • Drive to Kilimanjaro airport for the flight to Dar Es Salaam after breakfast.

   • Upon arriving at Dar es Salaam International Airport, you will be picked up and dropped off at your hotel by your tour guide. 

   • Enjoy the rest of the day.

   Dinner and overnight at Harbour View Hotel: Full board

10. Day 10: Dar es Salaam International Airport - Departure

    • Proceed to Dar es Salaam International Airport for your international flight back home after breakfast.
