Description
Embark on a 7-day Kilimanjaro ascent via the Rongai route, known for its simplicity and popularity. The mountain's northern part offers lush greenery, diverse wildlife, and a captivating natural panorama. Beginning on the less-travelled north side near the Kenyan border, it merges with the Marangu Route for the final summit push. The descent follows the Marangu route's southeast side, allowing trekkers multiple viewpoints of Kilimanjaro's magnificence.

Day-1: Moshi to Rongai Gate to Simba Camp
- Starting an early breakfast that followed with about 2-3 hours road trip towards Rongai Gate 1,950m (6,398ft), the trip will cut across many villages and coffee plantations. After signing in, porters will be ready to hike with hikers on a wide path winding through fields of maize and potatoes, heading to Montana forest afterwards, and trekking will continue gently while enjoying the beautiful view of the greenish forest consisting of wildlife as you move away from the forest towards Simba Camp, 2,600m or 8,530ft, with beautiful views over the Kenyan plains.

Day-2: Simba Camp to Kikelewa Camp
- After an early breakfast, the hiking will continue up to the second camp, where hikers will be served lunch. Then, the journey proceeds across the moorland on a smaller path to Mawenzi Peak's side at Kikelewa Camp in a sheltered valley. Dinner and night will be spent at Kikelewa Camp.

Day-3: Kikelewa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn Hut
- After breakfast, the hiking will continue to the steep grassy slopes with an exclusive enjoyment of breathtaking views. Soon after passing through vegetation towards Mawenzi after this hike, you will reach the Mawenzi Tarn Hut Camp, where you will get to witness an undried lake with neither inlet nor outlet. Then the day will end up here with lunch and dinner served.

Day-4: Acclimatization Day
- This is a relaxation day that will be spent at Mawenzi Tarn for the second time, although the enjoyment and experience are still there. The hikers and the whole team will stay there to explore the beautiful view of Mawenzi Peak, experience the weather, share different exposures of vegetation, and have a good time. Then lunch and dinner will be there, accompanied by a restful night.

Day-5: Mawenzi Tarn Camp to Kibo Camp
- Waking up to Mawenzi again early in the morning, breakfast will be served. The journey will then resume towards Kibo Peak across the lunar desert, where the hikers will stop at the bottom of the Kibo crater wall. Then, from there, after passing through the desert, the hikers will rest and enjoy the rest of the day and night while getting ready for the final climb to the summit.

Day-6: Kibo Camp to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Camp
- On this day, hikers will have to wake up at midnight, get a light breakfast and then continue hiking in order to reach Uhuru Peak before dawn so as to witness the beautiful sunrise. Leave to the peak at 12:00 a.m., switch back up steep scree or possibly snow, and reach Gilman’s Point on the crater rim at 5,861m (18,640ft) between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
- Here, the view of the fabled crater and its icecaps can be seen. As the hikers land at Uhuru Peak, which is the highest peak in Kilimanjaro mountain, the hikers will be making a very successful journey whereby taking photos and videos will be inevitable for hikers to congratulate themselves for such a big achievement. After enjoying the summit, descend back to Kibo Camp, where lunch will be served after the journey, and continue down Horombo Camp across the saddle. The rest of the day will end at Horombo Camp, and dinner will be served and a restful night after a joyful experience of reaching the summit.

Day-7: Horombo Camp to Marangu Gate to Moshi
- This is the last day of the journey after taking breakfast, descending through the moorland to Mandara Huts. Then, the lunch break will take and enjoy the meal for the last time of the journey. Afterwards, the descent proceeds down through the lush forest towards Marangu Park Gate. Here, the process of signing out and getting the certificate is followed by a moment of celebration while the vehicles are ready to drop hikers to their hotels.
