Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha/Moshi to Tarangire National Park

   • This day takes you to Tarangire, the home of elephants; you will see many elephants throughout the park; it's also a great park to spot wild cats, as lions, cheetahs & leopards are all in the park. Various herbivores are present. The game drive will take you close to animals and a mid-day lunch by the Tarangire River Picnic Site, where small monkeys will try to scare you off your meal.

2. Day 2: Tarangire National Park to Serengeti

   • After breakfast, we head towards the Serengeti National Park via the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at a camp.

3. Day 3: Full game drive at Serengeti National Park

   • After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park. You will do an early game drive seeing the sunrise, then head to explore various parts of the park depending on where the animals have migrated to. Expect to see a lot of wildebeest and zebras in a strategic partnership for their survival; many big cats are in the park. Luckily enough, you can witness a hunt action.

4. Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro crater

   • After an early breakfast, we will embark on a game drive to various parts of the parks. We will then return to the camp for lunch and parking for a journey back to Ngorongoro, where we will spend the night at Simba campsite, which is just on the top of the crater, ready for an early descent in the morning.

5. Day 5: Game drive in Ngorongoro and overnight in Ngorongoro

   • After an early breakfast, we will descend the crater on a journey to find the black rhinos. Rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater, as most animals will be easier to spot from this park because it is a floor crater. After lunch, we will embark on a game drive and ascend the crater to camp. You will spend time at the Sunbright campsite to relax.

6. Day 6 - Ngorongoro Crater tour - Lake Manyara National Park (end of the tour)

   • After an early breakfast, we will go to the Manyara national park. We will do a game drive, and you'll see plenty of birds (including the famous flamingos on the lake). If you are lucky enough, you can spot the famous tree-climbing lions. We will visit the hippo pool for a close look at the hippos and spend time in the hot spring. During the drive, other animals you'll be able to see are buffalo, wildebeest, warthogs, vultures, eagles, and monkeys. Later on, return to Arusha to your accommodation or you can be dropped off at the airport.
