Itinerary

1. DAY 1 - ARUSHA – NORTHERN SERENGETI

   • Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel by a guided morning. A guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Arusha airport for a flight to north Serengeti. After arrival at Serengeti, a visitor proceeds on a game drive in the wilderness, tracking the great migration trails. A visitor should have lunch at the lodge in the afternoon, and we will enjoy an afternoon game drive at Northern Serengeti. The wildebeest migration can usually be found in the Wagakuria area from mid-July to October, depending on the rainfall pattern.

2. DAY 2 - NORTHERN SERENGETI (KOGATENDE/WAGAKURIA AREA) FULL-DAY GAME DRIVE

   • After breakfast, we head towards the northern Serengeti National Park, the Wagakuria. A visitor will do a game drive en route from the Lobo area to the Wagakuria area. As we head north, good sightings of giraffes, plain game, herds of buffalo, and elephants can often be seen.
   • We arrive in time for lunch at the lodge, and after lunch, we will enjoy an afternoon game drive in the area. The wildebeest migration can usually be found in the Wagakuria area from August to October, depending on rainfall patterns. A long stretch of the Mara River runs through the northern Serengeti National Park, and the Mara River provides the migration with its most difficult obstacle. Witnessing the frantic herds of wildebeest crossing the Mara River is amazing.

3. DAY 3 - NORTHERN SERENGETI (KOGATENDE) -CENTRAL SERENGETI

   • Early in the morning, a visitor enjoys a game drive in the Wagakuria area after breakfast. Residents’ wildlife numbers are normally found in this park, with a pride of lions up to 30 strong; however, from Mid- July to October, the area turns into a paradise of animals. A long stretch of the Mara River runs through the northern Serengeti National Park, and the Mara River provides the migration with its most difficult obstacle. Witnessing the frantic herds of wildebeest crossing the Mara River is amazing.

4. DAY 4 - CENTRAL SERENGETI FULL DAY GAME DRIVE (SERONERA AREA)

   • After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in the park. The Lobo area and Grumeti River have good resident games throughout the year. Non-migrating animals like elephants, buffalo, gazelle, zebra, lion, leopards, and cheetahs can be seen here all year round. The game viewing is very good, and you can follow the game for long periods without seeing other vehicles – truly one of the forgotten corners of the Serengeti Plains. Magnificent riverine trees can be found along the river lines, and bird species such as kingfishers and fish eagles can be found here.

5. DAY 5 - SERENGETI (CENTRAL) – FLY BACK TO ARUSHA

   • Early in the morning, a visitor enjoys the game drive at Seronera (central Serengeti) after breakfast. Around mid-morning, join a scheduled flight from Seronera airstrip to rush airport; after arrival at Arusha airport, you will meet our driver, who will drive back to Arusha town. Upon arrival, you will have lunch and be taken to the hotel.
