Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival

   • After breakfast, drive to the southeast of Kenya to Amboseli National Park, located in Kajiado county in Rift Valley Province, close to the Tanzanian border and Mount Kilimanjaro.

   • Arriving around midday at Amboseli safari lodge or camp, after checking in, lunch will be served at the main restaurant, and relax before taking the afternoon safari drive.

   • Spot lion, cheetah, elephant, plains zebra, hippo, spotted hyena, jackal, Masai giraffe, wildebeest, impala, Thompson's and Grant's gazelle, and more than 425 bird species have been recorded.

   Dinner and overnight at Amboseli safari lodge or camp.

2. Day 2: Visit Masai Village

   • Spend another day in the park with morning and afternoon safari.

   • During your free time, visit the nearby Masai Village and get to learn more about the life and the culture of these nomadic people who live with wild animals.

   All meals at the safari lodge or camp.

3. Day 3: Lake Naivasha

   • Have an early breakfast at the lodge, load up and drive to Lake Naivasha through the city of Nairobi and down the escapement of the Great Rift Valley, arriving at the Naivasha Safari lodge or camp for lunch. 

   • After lunch, drive to the boat point and take a boat ride around the lake with a short walk with the wild animals like giraffes and zebras at the crescent island. 

   • Return to the hotel for a relaxing afternoon.

   Dinner and overnight at the Naivasha Safari Lodge or camp.

4. Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park

   • Breakfast will be served at around 7:30 am, and at around 8:30 am, load up and drive to another lake in the Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru National Park. 

   • Check-in at the main gate and have a game drive before checking in at the safari lodge or camp for lunch.

   • After lunch, relax before taking the afternoon safari drive. This park is famous for the birdlife, including thousands of flamingos and other water birds. The park also contains Kenya’s largest population of rhinos. The surface of the lake occupies about a third of the park. The lake supports a dense bloom of the blue-green Cyanophyte Spirulina platensis from which it derives its colour. It is a food source for flamingos.

   Dinner and overnight at the safari lodge or camp.

5. Day 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve

   • After breakfast, load up and drive to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, referred to as the jewel of Kenya’s park. This is Kenya’s number one park, and it is always on every tourist’s “must-see list”. Mara is full of life with various type of animals and birds; Masai Mara crown’s the climax of every safari in Kenya. It is home to the big five, the elephants, buffalo, rhino, lion and leopard. And cheetahs and other game. 

   • Apart from the big five, Masai Mara is most famous for the spectacular annual migration of over a million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle. From the Serengeti in northern Tanzania, crossing the Mara River into Kenya’s Masai Mara in search of fresh feeding grounds. This happens between July and October.

   • Arrive at Mara safari lodge or camp for lunch. 

   • After lunch, relax before heading out for the afternoon game viewing safari drive in search of the big five.

   Return to the luxury tented camp for dinner and overnight.

6. Day 6: Masai Mara Game Reserve

   • Another day in this famous game reserve with an early morning safari and afternoon game drive.

   • Enjoy the swim at the hotel and also enjoy the hot sun of Africa.

   All meals and overnight at the Mara safari lodges or camp.

7. Day 7: Departure

   • Have breakfast at the hotel's main restaurant, and later load up and drive to Nairobi to arrive later in the afternoon. 

   • Get dropped at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your onward flight home.
