Description
Join this hike if you want to trek the mountain but don't want to reach the summit of this African mountain. Trek up the Marangu Route up to Mandara Hut, 2,700 metres above sea level, where you will be greeted by a small crater. Marvel at the stunning landscapes and views around and spot flora and fauna.
Itinerary

Mount Kilimanjaro Hiking Tour
0700/0800 Hours: Receive a pick up from your hotel in Arusha/Moshi and drive to Marangu Gate to start your tour.
0900 Hours: Meet at the gate your well-experienced guide who will give you brief information about the hike. The walk normally takes about 3-4 hours to the first hut (Mandara hut), and you will arrive there in the afternoon.
1300 Hours: Have lunch served at the hut. Enjoy the great view over the Moshi district from the Mandara hut.
1400 Hours: Let your guide give you a short walk after lunch to the Maundi Crater before walking back to the Marangu Gate. It is a 2-hour walk. You will be walking slowly as you observe for anything that you might have missed on your way up.
1600 Hours: Reach Marangu gate, where you will meet your driver, and he will take you back to the lodge.
1730 Hours to 1800 Hours: Return to your hotel.
