Chemka Hot Springs
- We will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning for the hour-long drive from Arusha to Chemka Hot Springs. The road is quite bumpy and winding.
- During the drive, enjoy the wonderful scenery and authentic Tanzanian life as it unfolds along the route.
- Upon arrival, linger at the edge of the springs, taking in the vibrant blue waters and the lush greenery of the surrounding forest.
- Take a leisurely swim (just remember that the waters are quite warm, so you won’t feel like an Olympic sprinter) or float in this serene oasis, listening to the water lapping and the birds overhead.
- If you are feeling adventurous, try the rope swing.
- Enjoy your lunch in the shade of the trees or, if you prefer the sun, find a warm spot of your own.
- Spot the wildlife that also enjoys the Chemka Hot Springs.
The pond can be very deep, reaching up to 10 meters in some places, but the water is so clear that you can see right to the bottom.
