Arusha to Serengeti North and Kogatende Game Drive
- After breakfast, you will be picked up.
- Option 1 - Drive to Arusha Airport, or fly from Zanzibar Airport or Dar es Salaam Airport for a flight to Kogatende Airstrip in the Serengeti. After arrival, proceed with a game drive in the Serengeti wilderness area.
- Option 2 - Travel to the Serengeti by road near the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, allowing for animal sightings along the way. The golden savannah and endless plains, teeming with zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes, make it easy to understand why the Serengeti is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa.
- Serengeti National Park is Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and recently proclaimed the 7th wonder of the world, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, where some six million hooves pound the open plains.
- Serengeti offers an exotic game-viewing experience in Africa, giving you an up-close look at animals you've only seen in National Geographic: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands of elands, topi, kongoni, impala, and Grant's gazelle.
- After the game drive, transfer to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Mara Heritage Camp (Kogatende).
