3-Day Tanzania Wildlife Safari with Ngorongoro, Manyara and Tarangire

• Connect with your tour guide in Moshi and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park, which takes about 3-4 hours.
• After a picnic lunch in Manyara, start a late afternoon game drive, which is the best time to view animals in this park. As you approach from the east, the Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon, forming an impressive backdrop to the lake. In the tall trees of the groundwater forest, monkeys leap from branch to branch, while elephants stand in the shade along the escarpment. Other animals frequently seen here include zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and more.

Overnight at Highview Hotel or a similar hotel on a full-board basis.

• After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive inside the crater. This is one of the best places in Tanzania to see black rhinos, as well as prides of lions that include the magnificent black-maned males. There are also many colourful flamingoes and a variety of water birds.
• Other game you may see includes leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals.

Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wild Camp on a full-board basis.

• After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, which takes about three hours. This park is spectacular in the dry season, when many migratory wildlife species return to the permanent waters of the Tarangire River.
• Spot vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands, and oryx gathering in Tarangire until the onset of the rains, when they migrate again to better grazing areas.
• In the late afternoon, head back to Springlands Hotel for an overnight stay or get dropped off at the airport for your departure flight.
