Itinerary
-
Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, we drive to the center of the Serengeti, also known as the Seronera area. This region is the best-known area in the Serengeti and is home to a diverse fauna compared to other parts of the park. Common animals here include hippopotamus, antelopes, impalas, elephants, giraffes, and baboons. The area also attracts predators such as lions, hyenas, leopards, and cheetahs due to the good wildlife population. Your professional African wildlife guide will take you to the best spots teeming with wildlife. Enjoy mesmerizing views of the wild plains of the Serengeti while spotting the game. Dinner and overnight accommodations are provided at your lodging choice in central Serengeti.
-
Day 2: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, begin your morning drive to Serengeti National Park and enjoy the beautiful sunrise and breathtaking scenery of the wild plains. This will allow for excellent wildlife observation opportunities, with animals such as lions, zebras, wildebeest, cheetahs, hippos and more easily visible. After lunch, continue the journey towards Ngorongoro while playing games along the way. Your choice of accommodation around the crater rim will provide dinner and overnight stay.
-
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast at your respective camp/lodge, we will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater to observe wildlife throughout the day. This is the largest caldera in the world, boasting an amazing landscape and a very high concentration of animals, including the endangered black rhino. Tanzania is also home to many elephants, so keep an eye out for this large mammal. Ngorongoro Crater is home to 15,000 wildebeest, 9,000 zebras, 400 hyenas, about 120 lions, and about 50 endangered species of black rhino. Additionally, the crater has a diverse range of bird species, including augur vultures, red-tailed weavers, fan-tailed widows, and sunbirds. The water sources in the crater could be one of the reasons why animals settled in this area. After a long day of game viewing, we will retire to Moshi/Arusha for dinner and overnight at your hotel. This marks the end of the tour.
