Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival, City Tour and Prison Island

   • Arrive at Zanzibar airport or harbour and transfer to Stone Town Hotel for check-in at Forodhan Park Hotel or nearby in Stone Town on a B&B basis.
   • Depending on your arrival time, we will take you on a boat trip to Prison Island. A home of Aldabra giant tortoises Flanked by an amazing beach of reef sanctuaries, the island is ideal for swimming, snorkelling, and beach relaxation.
   • In the evening, you'll have a Stone Town City Tour, which takes you around the historically and architecturally important town of Zanzibar with its century-long history. It includes a visit to the former slave market site, which now stands as an Anglican church built in 1871, the town market, the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, the House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit-Al-Ajab), the Old Arab Fort, the Palace Museum, and the Old Indian dispensary (the Cultural Center).
   • At night, enjoy the Forodhani Night Market, where locals sell plenty of seafood. There are also beautiful restaurants nearby where you can enjoy a meal. Go back to your hotel for the overnight.

2. Day 2: Blue Safari Full-Day Tour

   • At 9:00 am, take the trip to Safari Blue. A full day of sailing, snorkelling, and sunbathing on a traditional dhow and seafood barbecue. Setting sail from Fumba, you will explore Menai Bay, where dolphins are often sighted. You can snorkel the coral reefs when dropping the anchor at the Kwale sandbank.
   • At Kwale Island, you will be served a buffet of grilled fish, lobster, calamari, chicken, and coconut rice. The boat sails to a stunning natural lagoon where there is an opportunity to swim before the day ends and back to town for dinner and overnight at your hotel.

3. Day 3: Departure

   • Pick up from the hotel or resort and transfer to the harbour or airport for departure.
